Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has announced the notification for document verification of the candidates who have been provisionally selected for the post of Constable (Armed/IRP/SDRF/Executive) for Home department. Document verification will be done for only those candidates who qualify the OMR based written exam or Physical Standard/Endurance Tests (PST/PET). After document verification candidates will receive the appointment letter; the candidates will stay in the Government Department. Document verification will be started as per JKSSB schedule. The JKSSB has decided to conduct the document verification of selected candidates from October 16, 2025, to November 10, 2025, at Jammu and Srinagar offices.

Recruitment Process
On December 1, 2024, the paramilitary forces administered the OMR-based written exam for Constable positions. The results were published in January 2025. The shortlisted candidates, who declared success in the written exam (January 2025), were subsequently called to undergo the Physical Standards test and Physical Endurance tests (PST and PET). The PST and PET were successfully conducted from August to the end of October 2025. The last stage of the selection process is Document Verification and you are advised to carry the original documents and self-authenticated copies of each document to attend Document Verification. Generally, Document Verification is conducted before the final-selection list is published to validate education qualifications, eligibility related details, and claims of category.
